Head Cheese

Did you ever eat "Head Cheese"? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Head_cheese
This is it.. We made it with 4 pig's 'hand', though the package says pig feet, they are the hands, boney, no meat. But we managed to cook it into "Head Cheese", we Chinese call this "pig jelly", can be cooked with pig head, hand/feet, tail..Taste good, taste clean and cool, need to eat as cold..

So, Jeen, C, how many do you want to take from here? you can have at least half of these...

We had some as lunch .....

We eat it with garlic sauce mixed with soy sauce, vinegar.. very good...

Camp at Emerald Bay State Park (Lake Tahoe)

I took this picture at 5 am in the morning of 7/4, just outside of the tent. We enjoyed 2-night camp at this beautiful camp site, want to reserve it for next year too..

Even in July, there's snow everywhere, you can ski here too.

We both walked up to the Eagle fall and took a pic to remember.

My tent is right on the lake, can see 4 sites of fireworks at July 4th.. This is Tent# 56, The Best.

Trail has been flooded due to heavy snow melt..

That's not me, but seems fun to do that..only the water is VERY cold..ICY..
