Monterey trip

Went to Monterey coast today. Beautiful day today, not so many people there, streets are empty, but the ocean water is so clear and so blue, the sky is very clean too, the dogs jump into the ocean to catch the wood stick, happily ... then, I ask myself, when we go vacation, isn't this what we exactly wanted?

Went to a an Italian restaurant (Fandango) that is very nice .. They treat us like we are having honeymoon here.. nice people, nice restaurant, Paella taste good too..

Moon Festival

9/18/05 is a Moon Festival day in Chinese calendar (8/15). We are in a place 450 miles away from home. I did watched the full moon while waiting to be seated outside a restaurant with his older sister. Sister told us we see this special moon every 6 years, cause TV says this moon is the furthest one which shows up every 6 years. So, we went to have a special dinner with them, all 4 of us, we had chili pepper+egg, chili+duck, chili fish head (a big one) and some other dishes. The food is spicy hot and salty, but taste good.

After helping P and H to move into their new places for grad school, we are so relieved, things went well.. All they needed from now on is money which we will continue to feed their account until they can feed their own account..

So, after dinner, we had some talk to the sister, at 11pm, we decided to drive back home which takes about 5-6 hours.

If I have to do it again, I will change the driving time...

I would rather drive down to south by 5-6am, not 3am ..

I would rather drive back at 6-7 am instead of 11pm ..

I lost the whole Monday due to tiring from the wrong time driving..

Why Jenn is always worry about her health, her tooth, her foot, her job search...I had this senstive baby 20 some years ago and she is still very senstive about everything she can imagine, like some kind sensor, when it's over senstive, it cause anxiety...

It sounds very difficult when you are early 20s and you don't know what's coming in your future and how can you control the future.. We all need to pass that stage, nobody knows what's coming into their future either, but as long as you walk each step with confidence and caution, each of your steps will be firm and solid, these good steps will build a solid path for you when you look back over your aged shoulder later on...

Moon Festival, did not ate any moon cake at all .. none of us ..

Empty nest

Seems blog is a pretty popular thing to do online, so I want to have my own BOLG too. Pat and Henrick are gone to SD today, once again, my house is empty except we 2 old people, feeling much older nowadays.
This is my first blog message, I have to learn how to play with this thing and how to post pictures so other people can see the pictures too, just like what Jenn did it..
