Car beak-in @ Valley Fair

So, I told you Tahoe was break in at Valley Fair mall shopping center. I was shocked when I saw the glass pieces on ground and inside the car, then I went back to the mall to ask someone how can I contact mall security, a nice Macy's sales manager helped me called mall security. I also filed a crime report at San Jose policy dept online. I tried to report to insurance company, but since it's 'only' glass broken, the phone connected to a Glass company and she said no need to report o AAA since deductible is $1000.00, the glass will not cost over that. The window should be replaced tomorrow. Cost about $450.00, glass+motor part inside the door.

The interesting part I think is how each one of you tried to comfort me. Here's what you said..
D: Oh, ok, I will call and arrange someone to replace the window glass asap. (and he did in few minutes)
J: Oh, that's nothing, every one got car break in these days, you guys should have hide things..
H: Is that the cheap GPS got lost? oh....ok...
P: At least that's NOT 'your' car. (so relax?)

And, here's what's going on for 'my car': when we drive, D keeps on telling me there's weired sound and we need to have the car checked in, so we did send in. The result is "the car is not safe to drive for now" due to the bad tire condition. The car needs to change 4 tires that costs $2300.00 at bmw. SO we changed it at Wheel Works and paid 1200. And, we have been told we need to change all tires every 2 years just because the car is sporty, hi performance blah...

Ok, I admit, since I got new tires 2 years ago, I never did check my tire, never.. but even I did, likely I still need to change tires anyways, maybe I will not be so surprised..

For those who has car, check your tire once a while and remember to change new tires when needed (Tahoe needs to change tires every 5 year, better than mine). There's way to check tire by a penny (put the penny in the center of tire (let the penny stands in), if you can see Lincoln head, then time to change tire), or by 1/16 inch..

Next car I buy would be a TL or Accord and I will dream they are not too troublesome..
