Yellowstone, Bryce, Zion, LV trip

First stop is California State Capital building in Sacramento
The governor is working hard behind the door to balance the budget today (saturday, 7/18)

Jackson town. It's a pretty crowded city now..

The famous park entrance.. stealing one of this horn, fine will be $750

Grand Teton...beautiful as usual, but the weather is too cloudy today

Yellowstone. The amazing national part...

Old faithful is getting really old...

There's not much energy any more, this the picture of the eruption, only left side has some water, the rest are steams.

There's steam everywhere with blue sky and tall green trees, super clear waters..

Great medow..

Click big to see the temperatures..

As usual, these animals always welcome you on the road, one of them even make big noise to ask all of us back up..

The famous yellowstone fall..

People take picture, video taping, make comments...

The fire on 1988 burned all of them into black land, now the new trees are growing fast.

These things are must been very old.. and you can not step on them..

Here's the Idaho Fall, the Snake River run thru this town made this beautiful fall.

Utah's famous mormons temple..

Capital of Utah..

The biggest copper mine .. see: http://www.kennecott.com/, the truck's wheels are 12 feet tall, I am only 5 feet 3 tall..

The whole site of the copper mine.

Bryce Canyon.. beautiful just as I remembered..

The natural door on my way to the bottom of the canyon...

People walking to the bottom, then need to come up, my legs were shaking due to hard walking condition, but I made it back up..

Zion park was surprisingly more pretty then Bryce Canyon, it's vast, big, majesty...

See the hole? that is the a tunnel of the road passing by.

See how big the site is? that is my bus ..

Alas, the SIN city is here !! people are happy here, they eat, drink, gamble and see pretty girls.. what a SIN..
Paris. I went all the way up on Elf tower, it's 50 floors high, cost me only $10.

I took this picture from top of the Elf tower, this is Paris casino.

There's so many people on the street, I walked here two nights and a day time, my legs are not mine any more, I almost tired to death..no kidding, really. There's so many new casinos for you to see and walk, and they are still building new ones now..I visited LV outlet center, had buffet at Bellagio, watch the show at Balley's (Jubilee), topless. Watched Water dance show in front of Bellagio 3 times (one at night time, one at the top of Elf tower, one at day time). I had enough, need some time to rest.. but the trip is a worth every dime and time.

Lake Tahoe camping

The campsite view of the Lake

So, we went to Emerald Bay in Lake Tahoe for camping 2 nights, hiking, sit at beach, watching fireworks shooting in five different sites around the lake.. The traffic is terrible from SF to the lake, normal drive should be 3-4 hours, but we drove like 6 hours to get to the place, same heavy traffic when we came back at 5th, but overall, it's worth to see the views, the mountain, the snow, the trees, the water and the fireworks..

It's me relaxing with cup of coffee in the morning to see the quiet lake Tahoe. At day time, this Emerald Bay water just like a heavy high way, super noisy with soooo many boats, jet skies in and out of the little bay.

People are here waiting for the night time fireworks, they stay here all day on 4th of July, we are one of them, came to the site at 10am wait for 9:40pm fireworks, but it really WORTH the wait, will come again next year.

This is near Eagle Lake trail, so beautiful I took this picture every time I come hike here...

Can not believe the lake is so calm...
