TG

TG day, we have Jenn, Grace, GM, LoLo came over had a 10 pound turkey with traditional dishes.

Jenn: she studied her school thing most of the time, once a while entertain us or Grace a bit, and, yes she seems miss Tiger most !!! Tiger thinks she touches/bother Tiger too much but can not say with his cat mouth.

Grace: seems enjoyed her time here other than GM bashing her too harsh one time that makes her tear fall. She enjoyed talking to Jenn with limited English.

Lolo: full of sour feelings about mother/son relationship. She talked too much on dinner table and acted like we are ALL her kids and should just listen to her. If I do remember what she said last year on TG dinner table, I would change my guest list this year.

GM: she is somewhat excited to be moved to her new senior apart soon. She keeps D busy for the move.

Me: I am having my medicine for the shingles, this shingles happened on my right side of body, but when it's almost gone, it appeared on my left arm, so I have to go to see Dr before the pain starts, Dr said that's unusual that I have 2 times in short period, so I have to take anti-body 5 times a day. It was not pleasant during holiday season with guests come over...

So, it's all over.... don't have to deal with it until next year.

Bright sunny day today. Temp is about 75, no reason to complain this kind California weather .. However, I just want to record few things here as part of my life journey ...

Lolo came and gone. She came to stay 2 nights due to Mindy's Canada business trip. Lolo should not have any food with any salt due to her hi-blood pressure which caused her stroke a month ago, but she is so temped to try those flavored food (with salt), she hates food that has no flavor.. She shows desires to go back her own house to live while kids want to more her into an assisted living unite.. She thinks all her kids need to treat her well even she's going crazy.. and she thinks that's one of the reason to have kids.. I don't like her thinking at all... we human being, each one of us should take our own responsibility until we can not perform that action .. then, we should die..

GM will come over from Taiwan today at 6pm. She has her own senior apartment which she choos for herself. Hope she enjoys her new life from now no, she's 78 years old.

Turkey day is almost here. 2 old 'moms' will be here for dinner and lolo also want to find a room in GM's place..

Turkey or ham? There's bird flu in Asia now, is eating turkey ok? I will ask Jenn what she would like..

After summer, it's Fall..

Had first rain last night, all those trees that will change color in fall, they all did, remind me of Canada's birch in this season..

Few things in my mind those days...

Lolo is getting much better after the stroke 3 weeks ago. She brags that she has 6 girls and one boy and all of them are very well doing now..but when she had stroke, why she has nowhere to go (none of the kids wants to have her stay)? not even her own house that worth about 800K (stairs in front and back doors). She married 2 times, both ended divorce, first time she had 3 girls, second time, she had 3 girls and a boy, but she always remembers her own parents is "her own people", not any of her husband... This is an old woman who lost everything ..

I belongs to the first marriage and she abandoned us when she married second guy, I only lived with her less than 10 years (1-5 yr, 16-18yr), she never treat me as same as other kids she had second time, there's difference...these differences will reflect on the way we all treat her as a mother..

She left a house to her kids (someone refer as "kid" not "kids"), but when it needs someone to take care of the house (rent or sell), nobody wants to get their hands wet...too hard.. lolo still wants her opinion be heard while she keep on saying she is out of control of her belongs while the girls think the guy should be the one make decisions since all the money will go to him..

Will I have this problems too when I get into that situation? Hope not.. but need to find a way not to fallen into this trap...

Grace wants come over and stay in my house for 6 months .. what's the reason? Need to discuss with her when she comes over for Thanksgiving... She's not getting any degree and she is only study in community college, why not just go back and find a job to support herself?

GM is coming soon, 11/18. It's a bigger potential issue... but whatever happened, I just have to deal with it daily.

I thought I don't have relatives ever since I left my father's parents farm house at age 15 and moved to lolo's place for continue schooling ...

Finally, this little house is done. There's 4 windows in total, a wide door, a wooden door step for loading, second floor inside for more storage, a side to side shelf about 4 feet tall inside..

Never done painting job before, last Saturday, we were paint the house with primer, it's hard job for me, the wood is dry and surface is not smooth, my arm is sour and painful.. But this time, painting is much easier with primer underneath, maybe five times easier than the first time. 4 hour job.

I like the paint color, it's the same color of the main house. I find 2 "chicken" and post them there, they truly add some imagination when see them...
